What’s New with the Santa Fe Brewing Company

To say that the award-winning Santa Fe Brewing Company has a busy year ahead is a massive understatement. Expanding on current activities, the company has received the green light to begin an exciting four-year expansion at its Santa Fe brewhouse. If that's not enough, SFBC will also open its first Albuquerque-based tap house this summer, adding to the city’s vibrant beer scene.

L’Olivier Celebrates a Successful Six Months

Swiss Bistro & Bakery

After four years as manager of Osteria D’Assisi, Santa Fe native Julian Marquez decided it was time to embark on a project of his own. His dream was to one day be the proprietor of his own business. After discussions with Philippe Müller and his wife Ruth about acquiring their restaurant, the charming Santa Fe-based Swiss Bakery Pastries & Bistro, Julian actualized his dream. It was a perfect fit.

Outside Bike & Brew Festival

Beginning May 15th-18th, Santa Fe will welcome the first annual Outside Bike & Brew Festival. With over 60 events planned during the course of the four day fiesta, including the participation of twenty plus breweries, various beer dinners and the celebration of local food producers, the festival promises a fun, affordable and delicious experience for imbibers and all ages and skill levels of cyclists.

She’s Got Spirit

Molly Norton, a Santa Fe native, spent years working as a bartender for various watering holes. She became the tasting room and events manager at Santa Fe Spirits in the summer of 2013 when owner Colin Keegan opened a second tasting room in downtown Santa Fe. Cocktail culture interested Norton, but she confessed that when she started she knew how to make a mean margarita, but didn’t then know much about distilling. A fast learner, Norton can now spout off the details of a fine spirit from how the aging process happens to the complexity of flavor created by the five native botanicals in Wheeler’s Gin.
