New Chef’s Table at Luminaria Restaurant

Santa Fe's award-winning Luminaria Restaurant at the iconic Inn and Spa at Loretto, A Destination Hotel, announced on June 25 that it has launched a new Chef's Table. The eight globally inspired menu options designed by renowned Executive Chef Marc Quiñones will be offered to groups of 6-8 people at a private table near a roaring kiva fireplace on the romantic Luminaria patio.

Pärcht Bottleshop + Bites Raises the Bar

I'd walked by the empty space below the Gorge Restaurant for a little over a year, wondering when the long -anticipated wine bar/bottle shop rumored to go in would finally open its doors. After hearing a rave review from a trusted source, I decided to head out there several days ago in the afternoon of a gorgeous spring day and give it a go. As the season's passed, I nearly forgot about it until I recently wondered into The Gorge for a pint and saw the promotional material for pärcht, the concept that ultimately opened just last week.

Video: The Shop Breakfast & Lunch

The shop is a hip and happening breakfast and lunch joint located in the Nob Hill area of Albuquerque just across from UNM. Owner Israel Rivera has put his own spin on the breakfast and lunch scene with gourmet dishes like the shrimp and grits which consist of organic stone ground grits, wild caught shrimp, bacon lardons, sauteed greens, fried egg & green onion. Unique and carefully sourced dishes like this are gaining The Shop popularity in the city.

Both Kim and Gabriel Amador the owners of Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria located at the corner of Girard and Central across from UNM are certified Pizzaiolo's by the Associazone Pizzaiuoli Napoletani which is the governing body in Naples Italy established to preserve the culture of Naples and it's pizza.

Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria has gained a loyal following since first opening its doors in July, 2013. Now the popular eatery in the heart of Nob Hill will open a second location in the new Green Jeans Farmery, currently under construction on Cutler at the northeast corner of I-40 and Carlisle and slated for a grand opening in early summer 2015.
